At Espoo Rugby Club our training is to prepare any member who participates in the trainings for a highest possible performance in a rugby match. For this reason our training is aiming at a few key elements that would allow participants from different levels to get the best out of themselves and become a better person both on and off the field.

Because our training includes various exercises the total goal is to:

  • Improvement of physical fitness.

  • Acquisition of motor skills.

  • Improvement of tactical efficiency.

  • Improvement of mental capabilities.

JOHN KING

This Scotsman has over 35 years of experience and is an absolute rugby veteran! He is the person we look to when we are clueless and are absolutely lost.

John King is the coach that pushes us, disciplines us, and demands our very best, both on and off the field. 

When ever you think you are at your limit, John is able to get you past that limit. With his many years of experience in coaching, playing and building up teams and club, we at Espoo Rugby Club consider ourselves lucky to have this man to be our coach.
